Hello everyone! I thought I would start a topic here in Development for the upcoming Denariium client. It is still a work in progress and I will try to update this thread as updates come. Currently I have the denariiumx-server syncing with denariusd perfectly, I just need those who wish to setup volunteer Denariium nodes for connection with the Denariium client. It is currently in the works, the github repos are available here: https://github.com/carsenk/denariiumx-server (The Denariium Server) (Python 3.6 required) https://github.com/carsenk/denariium (The Denariium Client) (Python 2 required) If you have a fix or additions, etc. please put a pull request up on the github! I have yet to test if the Denarius WIF, P2PKH, P2SH, P2WPKH, etc. are correct yet. I recently updated the way denariusd returns the getblock RPC command, this change was needed for the Denariium code to sync blocks properly. I may eventually be adding the estimatefee RPC command as well to add this functionality to Denariium (currently it is running off a fakeestimationfeedaemon). Once everything is setup and running smoothly the website denariium.org will come with more information, along with downloads to the client.

Hello everybody! Welcome to the new Denarius Contest! This contest is all about making a professional, well designed, and technical chart for Denarius transactions per second. The focus of the chart should be the amount of transactions per second that Denarius and other coins can handle. It will be up to you to figure out the technical math of the transaction speeds per second of other coins such as Bitcoin, Bitcoin Cash, Litecoin, Ethereum, etc. and then compare it in a chart with Denarius (which I do believe it is 150 tps, but please do the math to ensure this is a correct technical number). The chart must be professionally designed or created, it must look clean and sleek. I have to ask what will the future hold for the Denarius Coin? The value of the coin dropped the last past days to 0,35USD (why?) Will it rise? Mining farms I firmly believe are bad for a coin in its infancy. A coin relies on miners to be able to spread the word and create hype. The more miners there are, the more people there are to spread the word about a coin. If we centralise the mining instead to large-scale farmers, it is unlikely to create as much hype and we may even discourage new miners to join, due to too high a difficulty level that is not inline with the value of the coin (I have personally witnessed people turning away from DNR for that specific reason). We also run the risk of farmers dumping a large number of coins at once, thereby keeping the price of the coin down. When instead it is decentralised across a multitude of miners, this risk diminishes, as not all miners would want to dump for short term profit - some speculate at longer term pricing and also the number of coins they hold is much smaller than that of large-scale mining farms. So with that in mind, I wanted to reach out to the community here and hear what your thoughts are on large mining farms, and most importantly to collect ideas on how we could potentially reduce, delay or completely remove large scale mining farms.
